About Greenfield Creations
This market leading, environmentally friendly, cardboard coffin has been manufactured by Greenfield Creations since 1990. The idea was originally developed by Terry Hunneybel who had a background in cardboard engineering. This was in response to an ever increasing number of people wanting to reduce their impact on the environment.
The Greenfield Creations coffin is a strong, sturdy but lightweight coffin which has been developed to meet the needs of those who require an ecologically friendly and biodegradable coffin. The coffins have been tested by the Federation of British Cremation Authorities and also comply with the low emission levels set by the Governments Environmental Act.
This environmentally friendly product also has a low resource manufacturing process combined with a reasonable cost structure.
Over the past four or five years demand for greener and more cost effective funerals has increased. There are a lot of people with eco-friendly views, but at the same time there are other motivations, people who simply want to express themselves on that last important day by having a hand in the production of their own personal pictorial tribute.
