The penguin coffin

Jonathan Whitehead, who came to us recently for work experience, designed this penguin coffin. Jonathan worked in all areas of our production plant and design shop and during his time with us he excelled in the design side of our service. After his initial training he was then set a task to produce a new design for a coffin. He spent time developing his ideas and Greenfield Creations then produced his one-off design.

Decoupage coffin

One of Greenfield Creations more recent product ideas was to decoupage a coffin to help give the image more depth. We are producing a number of floral designs but we can apply this method to any image.

Painting the canvas coffin

Greenfield Creations launched the canvas covered coffin at a recent trade exhibition. Roy Barrett, a professional artist, offered his services to demonstrate the finish that can be achieved. See other examples of Roy Barrett's work at www.art-of-motoring.co.uk

Collage coffin

This cardboard coffin is in the process of being collaged with photographs. The idea can be used as a family project and a meaningful way to utilise pictures that have lived in a box for many years. This coffin has recently been on show at an exhibition at Worthing Museum. This idea was part of the Jean Francis workshop Jean is the author of 'time to go' the importance of saying goodbye.
